The European Ocean Days were held on March 4th and 5th in Brussels, bringing together 40 Mission projects and over 150 signatories of the Mission Charter to address European maritime topics. The event focused on future priorities for Europe’s seas, blue innovation and investment opportunities.
Among the distinguished participants, MedCruise, as part of the BlueMissionMed project, proudly showcased its commitment through the representation of our President, Figen Ayan.
Figen’s active engagement during the European Ocean Days was marked by her participation in the inaugural networking session of the Mission Ocean and Waters projects. Here, she contributed valuable insights and perspectives, forging connections with like-minded individuals and organisations passionate about safeguarding our oceans and waterways.
Furthermore, her participation in the Matchmaking Event for the mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030” exemplified MedCruise’s proactive stance in seeking collaborative solutions to pressing maritime challenges.
The European Ocean Days provided a rewarding platform for hundreds of stakeholders to network, collaborate, and exchange innovative ideas, facilitating meaningful partnerships and progress towards a sustainable and resilient maritime future.
