MedCruise is actively involved in the BlueMissionMed project, which is part of the EU Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters’ by 2030, that aims to protect and restore the health of our ocean and waters through research and innovation, citizen engagement and blue investments.
About BlueMissionMed
BlueMissionMed is a project at the forefront of efforts to achieve the EU Mission: ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters’ by 2030, which supports regional engagement and cooperation through area-based “Lighthouses”. BlueMissionMed is an initiative from the Mediterranean lighthouse that addresses Objective 2 – “prevent and eliminate pollution of our ocean, seas and waters”.
BlueMissionMed seeks to Inspire, Inform, Assess, Mobilise, Connect and Empower all the actors that can take a role in preventing and eliminating pollution in the Mediterranean Sea and Waters.
MedCruise’s Role
MedCruise’s pivotal role in putting the ports’ in the front row of solutions and actions for the EU targets, makes us active participants in BlueMissionMed’s endeavors, underscoring our holistic approach to sustainability.
